The client produces elements of prefabricated wooden structures. Its main products are roof trusses, wall sections and floors. Clyvanor is a leader in its industry, particularly due to its constant focus on automation, computerization and optimization of its processes. In particular, the company was a pioneer, at the beginning of the 2000s, in the adoption of an automated production planning system. This solution, designed internally tailor-made for its operations, quickly became central to its operations because it brings together several administrative functions, such as estimation, orders, management of the technical room, production scheduling, and preparation for shipping.
In order to modernize a critical digital asset, the objectives were to convert planning into unified time units, rewrite a more user-friendly “calendar” view, improve technical room management, and integrate several production sites.

Skadra delivered new features by integrating them into the current source code of Clyvanor’s internal production-planning software. The calendar, drawing planning and order management screens have been largely revised, as has the planning logic which is now based on the production minutes available per equipment and per production line.
Additionally, Skadra partners with Clyvanor in maintaining their software assets, which they depend on to remain effective.
With Skadra, the customer can continue to evolve their internal application by following the growth of their business. In particular, planning is now much fairer, and the work of designers arrives at a better time depending on production. Furthermore, the expertise acquired by the SKADRA team during the work allowed the client to integrate a new production plant into its IT platform, and therefore to unify its operations even more.
