LTI, in partnership with the Valcartier Research Center (CRV) of Defense Research and Development Canada (DRDC), is helping to develop tools to analyze the integrated survivability of land vehicles (LISA).
The mandate is to develop a simulation platform to evaluate the effectiveness of missions and the survivability of systems, in different engagement scenarios. These scenarios reproduce tactics, techniques, the human factor, situational awareness, targeting as well as the external and terminal ballistics of the weapons. The objective is to measure the survivability of troops and vehicles to improve mission effectiveness.
